The Beasley Center improves the academic lives of faculty and students in the College of Arts & Sciences by functioning as a resource for integrating industry-standard video and multimedia technologies into the curriculum. The Beasley Center not only serves as an advocate for this type of technological integration, but also provides a highly-trained professional staff with significant experience in the utilization and implementation of these technologies. From planning the best way to incorporate video in a course to the development of course-based student projects, from the production of high quality film and video to post-production and ideas for increasing the audience for these projects, staff members are available to assist faculty and students with all aspects of video and multimedia production.

The Center’s staff is also familiar with the pedagogical and logistical ramifications of class assignments based in these technologies. For more information about integrating existing or emerging media in your course, please contact the Center for an appointment.

The Beasley Center also provides faculty with limited slide scanning and media dubbing services.  Please contact the Center to learn more about these limited services.

Please remember that our production equipment cannot be reserved in advance, and is only available for a 24 hour check-out period.
